PTC Expands its Education Program in North America
December 17, 2009 - NEEDHAM, MA - PTC announced that it has recently added seven new schools to its Education Program for North American Colleges and Universities, including University of Alaska Anchorage, Montana Tech and Itasca Community College. PTC Acquisition Target?
February 3, 2009 - With the flury of acquisitions in the PLM field, there is speculation of who might be interested in PTC. Considerable consolidation in recent years: Oracle snapped up Agile in May 2007, Siemens bought UGS in January the same year, and Dassault Systemes acquired MatrixOne in March 2006. Datamonitor believes that one of the more likely suitors for PTC is Infor Global, a large privately owned enterprise applications vendor with approximately $2.2 billion in revenues.

Siemens Pays Record Fine in Probe

PTC Expands Partnership with FIRST

Autodesk Suspends DWG Complaint
Autodesk is asking the US trademark office to suspend its action against DS Solidworks. Autodesk doesn't like it that DS SolidWorks has registered DWGgateway and DWGeditor as trademarks, and so sued DS SolidWorks in civil court. Part of the court action requests the jury require the USPTO to deregister DS SolidWorks as owner of those name. For more information

EADS Selects Windchill
